Many people use their brows as instruments of emotion. Over the course of time, the skin stretches, causing creases and excess skin in the forehead area. The skin then sags and becomes, what is known as, drooping brows As a result, people then raise their brows up and away from their eyes, causing more wrinkling, which may get to the point where the skin seems to hood their upper eyelids. These people are, at times, taken aback when they look at themselves in a mirror. The first impression they get is that the face looking back at them is not really their own reflection. The face in the mirror looks tired or older than the person feels. A child might think they are angry or mean. They may feel they appear old, just as their parents once appeared to them.
The solution might be a brow lift for a smoother brow and more youthful looking eyes. An experienced, board certified plastic surgeon is the best choice to perform this procedure. Such a physician, who is artistic and educated to the highest standards, would qualify to give you a beautiful and natural looking brow and forehead, not a surprised, deer in the headlights look. Dr. Joshua Halpern is such a plastic surgeon and has performed many a brow lift, gaining him considerable experience.
He was one of the pioneers of the endoscopic brow lift, which utilizes the endoscope to create the smallest incisions possible in this type of surgery. It has provided him the opportunity to lecture nationally and internationally on the subject.
Dr. Halpern’s excellent training, his years of experience, his inventiveness and artistic eye all come together to enable him to use his expertise to benefit his patients. With his advanced endoscopic and Finesse techniques, recovery is relatively quick and pain is minimal when compared to traditional techniques.
Please do come in for Dr. Joshua Halpern to evaluate you at a complimentary consultation. He will examine you and let you know how he can help you recapture a more youthful, refreshed, and attractive look. People might just ask you after surgery where you went on vacation. Call (813) 872-2696
