Morpheus8™ is truly revolutionary in the world of beauty treatments. This minimally invasive, safe, and effective radiofrequency (RF) microneedling device stands alone in its ability to tighten and remodel the skin.

Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy (CIT), is a highly effective cosmetic procedure on its own. By combining it with RF technology, as the makers of Morpheus8™ have, you get a transformative treatment for comprehensive face and body rejuvenation.

Dr. Joshua Halpern’s Tampa team offers advanced med spa services like Morpheus8™.

Before choosing which non-surgical cosmetic treatments to provide at his med spa, Dr. Halpern assesses their efficacy and safety. Only after gathering all the available information and proof of its cosmetic value does he add a new procedure to his menu of services.

After being impressed with the advantages of Morpheus8™, he is proud to include this treatment for patients in and near Tampa, Florida.

What Are the Benefits of Morpheus8™?

Morpheus8™ combines state-of-the-art microneedling with RF energy to promote new collagen production deep within the dermis and tissue while reducing or eliminating subdermal fat and skin flaws.

Morpheus8™ includes modular tips to treat small or large areas of the face and body, and unlike many other cosmetic devices, it can be used on darker skin tones.

Morpheus8™ can improve the following skin conditions and more:

  • Acne scars and other scarring
  • Discoloration
  • Enlarged pores
  • Fat accumulation beneath the chin
  • Lines and wrinkles
  • Loosening skin
  • Mildly sagging jowls
  • Poor texture
  • Stretch marks
  • Sun damage
  • Uneven skin tone

What Happens at My Morpheus8™ Consultation?

Your skin treatment consultation will include a full discussion of your concerns, expectations, and questions. Our professional will evaluate the condition of your skin to determine if Morpheus8™ can meet your needs. If so, they will develop a customized treatment plan to help you achieve your goals.

If Morpheus8™ is the appropriate treatment, you will be advised about the number of treatments you’ll need and the cost.

How Is Treatment With Morpheus8™ Performed?

Morpheus8™ is an outpatient procedure that generally requires only a topical anesthetic. The handheld device works on one small area at a time to deliver RF energy through tiny needles that reach deeper into the dermis than other microneedling devices.

This process stimulates new, faster collagen and elastin production, with treatment usually lasting less than an hour.

Depending on your goals, one to five treatments may be recommended at intervals spaced three to six weeks apart.

Enjoy less downtime than surgical alternatives and long-lasting results with Morpheus8™!

Frequently Asked Questions About Morpheus8™

How long will recovery from Morpheus8™ treatment take?

Immediately following treatment, you can expect to experience red, tender skin that feels tight and may ooze or weep. Mild to moderate swelling and peeling may also occur.

These symptoms represent a normal reaction and are part of the skin remodeling process. You should see improvement within the first week.

Help speed up recovery and prevent complications while your skin heals with these tips:

  • Make sure your hands are clean when touching the treated area.
  • Keep your face clean with warm water or a gentle cleanser, and pat dry lightly.
  • Hydrate the skin with a mild moisturizer.
  • Avoid makeup and skincare products for 48 hours and use only clean brushes and applicators when you resume.
  • Protect the skin with an SPF30 broad-spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen, and avoid chemical sunscreens that contain avobenzone, caprylic acid, high salicylic acid, octocrylene, or oxybenzone.

Also, avoid the following:

  • Alpha-hydroxy acids, beta hydroxy acids, retinol (vitamin A), and vitamin C for at least 48 hours after treatment.
  • Avoid direct exposure to sunlight, don’t swim, and take a break from exercising and strenuous activity for at least 24 hours. Sweating and bacteria in the gym can cause dangerous side effects, so it’s best to avoid it until your skin is healed.

How much does Morpheus8™ cost in Tampa, FL?

The cost for Morpheus8™ varies depending on the target areas and the extent of the treatment. You will be provided an accurate cost estimate during your consultation once your skin professional has evaluated your needs.

Which procedures can be combined with Morpheus8™?

Dr. Halpern offers a wide variety of surgical and non-surgical treatments that can dramatically improve your appearance.

While a facelift is the most effective procedure to lift facial skin and restore volume, it does nothing for texture issues, scars, sun damage, and discoloration, which can all be addressed with Morpheus8™.

Our med spa also offers medical-grade skin care to help maintain your results for as long as possible.
